Unlocking the written word, one sound at a time.
More than 7,500 kindergarten to second grade students in Delaware are reading below their grade level. About 20% of these students have some level of developmental reading disorder, like dyslexia, that makes it difficult to learn how to read in the same way as their classmates.
The Reading Assist Institute believes in early intervention as the cornerstone of our program, using evidence-based, multisensory, structured language instruction that research tells us will work with struggling readers.
We work with both students (tutoring) and teachers (classes) to build a unique partnership in our schools and community.Learn more about our story
