Directions to the Community Service Garage:
Take I-95 to Delaware Avenue North Exit and head toward downtown Wilmington. Just past Jefferson Street, Delaware Avenue splits. The road continuing to the left is 11th street. Stay in the left lanes of 11th Street for a few blocks until Orange Street. Turn left onto Orange Street and stay in the left lane. The Community Service Garage is immediately on your left. Park and follow the directions below to our new offices.
Directions to our office in the Community Service Building (CSB):
When you emerge from the Community Service Building garage, you are facing Orange Street. Make a right and walk one block to 10th Street. From the intersection of 10th and Orange you will see the Community Service Building diagonally across the street - the building with non-profit logos on the building (the former DuPont Montchanin Building). Upon entering the building, please stop at the front desk and sign in, then take the elevator to the 9th floor.
Parking at the Community Service Garage:
When RAI has a scheduled class or workshop, we always alert the Garage of the expected attendance so there will be a space for you. If the sign says "FULL" and you are attending a class or visiting, tell the attendant you are going to Reading ASSIST® in the Community Service Building and you will usually be admitted.
If the attendant tells you the lot is full, there are other parking garages in the vicinity:
- Hotel duPont garage-adjacent to the Community Service Building garage
- Colonial garage on 12th and Orange Streets
- Garage at 9th and Shipley Streets
Reading ASSIST® will validate your Community Service Garage parking ticket.
